They say good things come in small packages, and that is certainly true with Aurora. You have only to meet her and you will fall under her spell. She has that inexplicable "IT" factor that draws people to her. I have often said that if I had to describe Aurora in 2 words, it would be DELIGHFULLY NAUGHTY! Athletic and feminine with a side of wild.  She will put a smile on your face!  This is a bitch that truly has it all – BRAINS, BEAUTY, MOVEMENT AND PERSONALITY.  Oh did we mention PERSONALITY?  She earned the nick name of "the wrecking ball" because of her "no holds barred" enthusiasm.

Aurora wowed us by winning back to back 5 point Specialty majors at 15 months old, finishing with a 3rd major going Best Opposite Sex over 2 specials all from the Bred By class. She took off time to become a mother and then went right back to work, earning her Grand Championship with a Best of Breed along the way.

She has 4 champions so far, another pointed and more hitting the ring soon! She also has 2 Junior Hunters and one of her sons was holding his point though the shot and backing at 6.5 months old!

We fell in love with JD early on. A beautiful puppy we couldn't take our eyes off. We held our breath as he grew up and waited to see if he would be as nice when he matured - he seemed to just get better with age... We were so excited to meet him in person - and he was somehow, even better in the flesh than in pictures.

JD is producing offspring with lots of substance, good neck, shoulders, toplines, and rears. They also have his easy going, sweet temperaments. The combination of JD and Pip has been dynamite! Daughter PoSh finished at 8 months, GCH soon after and Bronze GCh at 18 months. PoSh is also nationally ranked in the Top 10, Top 3 Owner Handled Weimaraner and the only Weim on both lists! JD & Pip also have one champion son, Kane. Others are still getting started.

We employ a breeding strategey used by most long-term successful breeders, approximatelay 75% line breedings, 25% outcross. We do this to have a higher degree of predictablity in the outcome and to have a better chance at identifying traits to avoid. When we do outcross, we try to find dogs whose "pheno-ty[e" (their physical traits) are similar to our dogs and to what we believe the ideal Weimaraner should be. JD fits this bill to a "T"! We were pleased with the consistency in the puppies produced with Pip.
