Riot & Larry

Planned for late 2018

The Dam:  “Riot”
Cheyenne's Undercover Shanigans @ Tripawd
OFA Good
CERF: Normal,
HUU N/N, HYM N/N **by virtue of both parents N/N
AKC Reg#:  SR86852502
Height: 25"    Weight: 55#

Anyone ever told you, "Be careful what you name a dog!"? Listen to them! LOL!

Riot is the baby of the house, despite being 3 years old. She had a playful and childlike personality with a propensity to push boundaries. When she gets into trouble she will look up at you with these big, luminous, doe eyes try to play the "puppy card". Riot has perfected the "innocent" look, so much so that I think she almost believes it herself!

She'd reminded us just how bad a Weimaraner puppy can be... It's a good thing she's cute!

Riot is a whirlwind! I swear she doesn't know what "walk" means. She takes life in leaps and bounds - literally! We think she may be part deer...

Riot has quite possibly the most beautiful neck and shoulders of any dog we've bred. Beautiful tailset, turn of stifle and nice thick thighs. She is also a little darker gray than most Weimaraners. Like most of our dogs, she has generous, velvety ears, dark pigment and light eyes.

Riot hasn't spent much time in the show ring, However she already has 7 points, including a major, toward her championship In limited showing. She has show a lot of interest in birds and she swims like a fish! We have big plans for Riot after maternity leave!

The Sire:  “Larry”
BISS GCHB Cheyenne's Go Big Or Go Home JH NSD
OFA Hips: Excellent, Elbows: Normal, Eyes: Normal
HUU: N/N, HYM: N/N, SD: N/N, LHC: N/N (All Clear)
AKC Reg#:  SR
Height: 25"    Weight: 75#

Larry is a handsome boy with a serious expression. Don't let that fool you, he has a habit of stealing stuffed animals and taking them for a walk to visit the horses on his 7 acre property in the country!

Weimaraners are an intelligent breed and Larry is no exception. He figured out how to open latches and gates at an early age and even has a B&E (Breaking and Entering) on his record...

Larry's show career has been a whirlwind!
How to go from Start to Champion in 30 short days?
Start with one spectacular puppy.
Add a healthy dose of love and effort.
Top with a wonderful trainer and handler.

Larry hit the ground running! 7 months old and his first weekend showing with competition nets him a Reserve & 3 x Winners Dog, 2 Best of Winners and 2 Best Puppy. Just 30 short days later, he was a new champion with 2 FIVE Point MAJORS!

Next came a Best of Breed win @ 10 months and Grand Champion - all before his first birthday! Several Best of Breeds followed and a Best in Specialty win in front of his home crowd @ the age of 2. This February he completed his BRONZE Grand Championship by earning 100 GCH points!

Lest you think Larry is just a pretty face, nothing could be farther from the truth!
Larry finished his JH in the spring of 2016 with no formal training. He has an excellent nose, staunch point and is a natural backer! He's in training for his Senior Hunter with plans to compete this fall.

Larry is a medium sized with excellent substance. He's a balanced, moderate dog with a beautiful head and intelligent expression.

Larry sired 2 litters last year and we are extremely pleased with the consistency and quality of the puppies. We can't wait to see them grow up!

Larry cools off in the dunk tank at a field event. He enjoys the water and swimming.

This litter is a fairly tight line breeding on
Ch. Foxfire's Bohemian Rhapsody,
Ch. Cheyenne N Foxfire Common Ground NSD
GCh. Cheyenne's Spontaneous Combustion NSD BROM,
FC AFC Davison's Orion on the Rise MH,
DUALCH Wynwoods Rain on the Rise NRD, SDX, VX, FROM, HOF and Ch. Ashmore's Win'Weim Royal Flush BROM as well as some of the greats of old making several appearances in the 6th+ generations.

Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI): 20.02%
Pedigree for this litter.

We did a similar pairing in 2012 that produce a wonderful litter of 8, of which we have our lovely Aurora from. We employ a breeding strategey used by most long-term successful breeder, approximatelay 75% line breedings, 25% outcross. We do this to have a higher degree of predictablity in the outcome and to have a better chance at identifying traits to avoid.

Puppies from this litter will be $1400.

Puppies available to both competition and companion homes.

Please submit a questionaire to be considered.
