Call him Dubbya, Bubba, Bubbakins, BaBooSki, or just Woody - That's our sweet handsome man! Woody is the only boy in a house full of girls. He's our protector and man of the house. He is a typical jock - athletically gifted, good with the ladies and a bit simple minded. He is a total showoff, flying over our 42 inch fence with the greatest of ease. Agility is definitely in this boy's future!

There is nothing extreme or overdone about this dog. He is medium sized with moderate bone. Beautifully balanced, masculine yet elegant. And man, can this boy move! His is built like a precision machine. Effortless reach and powerful drive.

Like many of our Aleck pups, Woody has a natural grace and elegance. He has proud and regal way of carrying himself, just like a prince. Woody is the first boy we've raised and what a special treat it has been! Where the ladies can be spiteful and argumentative, Woody is easy going and biddable. He has a sweetness about him that is different from the girls - he has no hidden agenda. He gives affection freely.

Woody will also be very important to the future of Cheyenne Weimaraners. His hallmark is beautiful tight feet with small nails that hardly grow - wouldn't we like to see those on all our dogs!

He has a long ribcage and nice short loin with the proper ratio of 2 to 1. He has a rear built like a performance machine, coupled with good shoulder layback and length of upper arm, a front that can handle a tremendous amount of drive. Woody also inherited his father's laid back attitude toward the ladies - for that we are VERY grateful! We are excited to see if he can pass these qualities on to his children.

Woody is available to select ladies of quality, please write to inquire.

In August of 2004, we sent Woody to Ft Collins to stay with the Schneider family for safekeeping while his sister, Giddy was in season, waiting to be bred.  Knowing the Schneider family included 20 month old twin brothers, I worried how Woody would survive, never having been around children.  Well, just when you least expect it, these amazing creatures will surprise you.  Knowing a good thing when he saw it, he quickly decided that having the adoration of 4 humans, a Chocolate Lab sister  to play with and a home backing his own private golf course was exactly the kind of retirement home he was looking for.   Every morning he greets the twins with a good morning kiss and spends his days playing fetch with the boys or accompanying Chad to work.

This is my brand new day starting now
letting go of the ways that I fall down
the old can be made new
the lost can be found
the lost will be found
This is my prayer without ceasing
the negative releasing
and as I rise above
my burden is easing
