The Bitch has ATTITUDE!

Giddy is girly girl with commanding presence.
She is powerful, feminine, graceful, and a bit snotty - just what you would expect a BITCH to be.

She is beautifully balanced and beautifully proportioned.  Her topline is strong and her tail is set at the proper 45 degrees.  Balanced angles make for efficient and effortless movement that is fluid and powerful, covering ground with ease.  Giddy is exactly the type of bitch we strive to produce:  All GIRL and yet undoubtedly an athlete.   There’s no mistaking her for a boy, yet she’s not the least bit fragile.  She has beautiful dark pigmentation and expressive eyes.

The daughter of a Best in Show winning Top 10 dog, Giddy is also receiving attention at regional and national levels.

At the 2002 WCA National Specialty, she won the 18 to 24mo Sweepstakes over 19 other bitches!  Her winnings paid for a couple nights hotel!   That October, she competed in her Futurity and made the final cut to 6 bitches in a very large class.   She also won the Bred By Exhibitor Class at the Regional Specialty and brought home a cool trophy.   Unfortunately, all the Maturities were too far away for us to attend in 2003.

Giddy completed her championship in February 2003.  All championship points were earned from the Bred By Exhibitor class, shown exclusively by her Breeder/Owner Christine Trujillo.  She also earned 2 Group placements in Bred By Exhibitor competition.

Giddy has a natural charisma that makes her a lot of fun to show.   In March of 2003, we attended our first International Dog Show, not knowing what to expect.   Giddy watched her brother take top honors at the first of the three shows and she quickly decided the back seat was not for her.   She won both Best Bred By and Best of Breed at the second and third shows and further one-up’d her brother by adding 3 group placements.
Final medallion tally:  Woody -2, Giddy - 7 BITCHES RULE!!!

She knows exactly how to use her feminine whiles to get what she wants.  In fact, she can be downright pitiful!

Giddy is destined to be the next stone in our foundation.  Preferring to produce in quality, not quantity, she’s given us just 7 precious puppies with superior temperaments and personality to spare. We were fortunate enough to keep all the wonderful qualities she brought to the table, and make many of the improvements we were hoping for.   Sparky, her daughter from her October 2004 litter, burst onto the show scene immediately making the judges and competition sit up and take notice, racking up 3 Reserves and 2 WB/BOW in her first 5 outings.  Brother Sasha is set to debut in August of 2005 and we should see some from this year’s litter follow suit in 2006.  The future of Cheyenne Weimaraners looks very bright thanks to Giddy’s contribution to our line.

November 2006 Update:
Giddy has moved to Skiatook, Oklahoma to begin a new career as a Junior Showmanship dog.

2/23/2009
We lost Giddy tragically and unexpectedly to an acute case of Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis.

I drank from this cup til it watered down my soul
I need you, so I’ll thirst no more.
I started down this path such a long long time ago
I need to find my way home.
I want to be the one to hold you high
I want to be the one to give you glory
I’m the king of my desires
I’ve tried them all a thousand times
I have got to choose between this world and you
Got to admit they’ve got a grip I must admit
I can’t explain this emptiness
I hurt without you by my side
